Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
The key points first: Play Money Party is free. You play with play money (chips) only. There are no deposits, no withdrawals and no real-money winnings – chips have no monetary value. This is a translation for your convenience; only the German version is legally binding.
§ 1 Provider, scope and contract language
(1) The website Play Money Party is operated by [TODO: Vor- und Nachname], [TODO: Straße und Hausnummer], [TODO: PLZ und Ort] ("we", "us"). Contact: [TODO: E-Mail-Adresse].
(2) These terms of use apply to every use of Play Money Party – as a guest, with a registered account and through the bot API. Differing terms of users ("you") do not apply.
(3) The game rules apply in addition. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
(4) The contract language is German. Translations of these terms, such as into English, are for your information only; only the German version is authoritative.
§ 2 Conclusion of the contract and contract text
(1) On your first visit we show you an age check with links to these terms of use and the privacy policy. By clicking "Yes, I'm 18 or older" you confirm your age and accept these terms of use. This concludes a free-of-charge contract of use between you and us, and we create your guest account.
(2) If you register your account later, the same contract of use continues; only the features for registered accounts are added. If you register a bot through the bot API, a separate contract of use on these terms is concluded for that bot account.
(3) Until you click, you can leave the age check at any time without a contract being concluded. When registering, you can check and correct your entries in the input fields before submitting; you can also change your username, email address and password later in your profile.
(4) We do not store the contract text separately for you. You can view the current version of these terms on this page at any time, print it or save it with your browser; the date of the version is shown at the top of the page. We will send you earlier versions by email on request.
§ 3 Service: casino games with play money only
(1) Play Money Party is a free entertainment service. We simulate casino games that are played exclusively with virtual play money ("chips").
(2) We accept no stakes in real money and pay out no winnings in money or anything of monetary value. Chips can neither be bought nor exchanged for money, crypto assets, third-party vouchers or other assets. Therefore no gambling within the meaning of Section 3 of the German Interstate Treaty on Gambling takes place.
(3) Success with chips says nothing about your chances of winning at real-money gambling. Play Money Party does not advertise or broker real-money gambling.
(4) There is no entitlement to particular games, features or content. We may change Play Money Party if there is a valid reason, in particular new legal or regulatory requirements, security and protection against abuse, technical development, changes at our service providers or a feature that is hardly used. In doing so we take your interests into account. If we restrict Play Money Party significantly, for example by discontinuing a game, we announce this on the website in advance where possible. Your right to terminate the contract of use at any time (§ 10 (2)) remains unaffected.
(5) We award no prizes in money or of monetary value for leaderboard positions, bonuses, promotions or vouchers. If we ever hold a prize draw with real prizes, separate conditions of participation apply to it, and participation does not depend on chips or game results.
§ 4 Participation, age and account
(1) Only persons aged 18 or over may use Play Money Party. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we suspend and delete it; chips and items then expire without compensation.
(2) On your first visit we automatically create a guest account. You can turn it into a registered account at any time (with an email address and password or, where offered, a Google account); your balance and history are kept. Some features – such as the leaderboard, shop, friends, poker with friends and vouchers – require a registered account.
(3) Each person may have only one registered account. Bot accounts created through the bot API are exempt.
(4) Keep your login details secret. If you suspect that someone else is using your account, please tell us immediately.
(5) Your username must not be offensive, discriminatory, indecent or misleading (e.g. the name of a real casino or posing as Play Money Party staff), contain advertising or infringe third-party rights. This also applies to table and bot names. We may change impermissible names.
(6) We display the usernames, table names and bot names you choose on Play Money Party, for example on the leaderboard, at poker tables and in crash rounds. For this you grant us a non-exclusive, free-of-charge right to use them on Play Money Party; it ends when your account is deleted.
§ 5 Chips, shop items and vouchers
(1) Chips are a purely virtual game currency with no monetary value. You receive them free of charge, e.g. as a starting balance, daily bonus, refill, invitation reward, as a reward for achievements or through vouchers. Details are in the game rules.
(2) In the shop you can acquire cosmetic items (e.g. themes, card decks, chip skins, win effects, game skins, titles) for chips only – one by one, as a set at a reduced price, or in crates. There are two crates: the Mystery crate contains a randomly determined item of any rarity, the Legendary crate a randomly determined item of the rarity “Legendary”; the odds are shown on every crate before you open it. If you get an item you already own, you receive shards instead, which you can use to craft items of your choice. Like chips, shards are purely virtual and have no monetary value. Some titles are only available as a reward for achievements, collection milestones or complete sets. You do not acquire ownership of chips, shards or items, but a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them on Play Money Party for the term of the contract of use.
(3) Chips, shards, items and accounts must not be sold, bought, exchanged or otherwise transferred – neither on Play Money Party nor elsewhere, in particular not for money or other consideration of monetary value. Only what a game itself provides for is allowed, such as chips won or lost at the table in poker with friends.
(4) There is no entitlement to payout, refund or replacement of chips, shards or items – not even when the contract of use ends.
(5) We issue voucher codes for chips or shop items free of charge as part of promotions. They can only be redeemed with a registered account, each code once per account, as long as its validity period and number of redemptions last. Voucher codes must not be sold.
(6) If balances, items or game results are based on a technical error or a breach of these terms, we may correct them at our reasonable discretion to match the error-free course of events – in your favour or to your disadvantage. We will inform you of significant corrections; you can object to them under § 15 (4).
§ 6 Gameplay and fairness
(1) Our server determines every game result using a cryptographic random process that you can verify ("provably fair"). The rules and payout rates of the games are in the game rules and in each game.
(2) The result stored on the server is decisive. Errors in the display or animation do not change it.
(3) If a round is affected by a technical fault, it may be void. We then refund the stake or correct the result.
(4) Open games (blackjack, mines, tower, Hen Hop, hi-lo, Five Dice, video poker and poker against the dealer) that are not continued for 24 hours are closed by the system. The stake and any winnings shown up to then but not yet collected are forfeited – as if you had left the table.
§ 7 Fair play
In particular, you must not:
- exploit bugs or security vulnerabilities instead of reporting them to us;
- automate play with programs, scripts or bots – except through the official bot API with a bot account created for that purpose (§ 8);
- circumvent the age check, rate limits or other safeguards, or overload or attack Play Money Party;
- create several accounts to obtain invitation rewards, bonuses or vouchers more than once;
- deliberately pass chips to others ("chip dumping"), e.g. by colluding at the poker table;
- trade accounts, chips or items (§ 5 (3));
- use Play Money Party to advertise real-money gambling or other offers;
- use content (e.g. usernames) that violates the law or third-party rights.
§ 8 Bot API
(1) Through the bot API you can register bots that play automatically. These terms apply to bot accounts; the limits stated on the bot page apply in addition.
(2) We show a bot's API key only once. Keep it safe and do not pass it on. We cannot restore a lost key.
(3) You are responsible for everything your bot does just as for your own play. Bots must not overload Play Money Party or circumvent the limits, for example by using many bot accounts.
(4) The bot API is an additional service. We may change endpoints, formats and limits under § 3 (4); we do not owe a permanently unchanged interface. In the event of breaches we may block API keys or bot accounts under § 9.
§ 9 Measures in case of breaches
If you breach these terms, we may – depending on the severity and taking your legitimate interests into account, such as whether the breach was culpable – warn you, correct balances, items or results, remove you from the leaderboard, temporarily suspend your account or terminate the contract of use under § 10 (3).
§ 10 Term and termination
(1) The contract of use runs for an indefinite period.
(2) You can terminate it at any time without notice by choosing “Delete account” in your profile or by writing to us at [TODO: E-Mail-Adresse]. We will then delete your account within one month at the latest.
(3) We can terminate the contract of use with two weeks' notice, for example if we discontinue Play Money Party. Both parties' right to terminate without notice for good cause remains unaffected. For us, good cause exists in particular in the event of serious or repeated breaches of § 7.
(4) When the contract of use ends, chips and items expire without compensation.
(5) Guest accounts that have not been used for 12 months (no games, bonuses or other bookings) are deleted automatically; this ends the contract of use.
§ 11 Availability
We strive for uninterrupted operation but do not owe any particular availability. Maintenance, further development or faults at our service providers may cause interruptions.
§ 12 Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee we have given.
(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, we are only liable for the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable when the contract was concluded. Essential obligations are those whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely.
(3) Otherwise, our liability for slight negligence is excluded.
(4) These rules also apply to the personal liability of our vicarious agents.
§ 13 Changes to these terms
(1) We may change these terms for the future if there is an objective reason, such as new features or changes in legislation or case law.
(2) We announce changes on the website in good time before they take effect. On your first visit afterwards we show you the age check again and ask you to agree to the amended terms. They only apply to you once you agree.
(3) Until you agree, you cannot continue to use Play Money Party; the legal texts remain accessible. If you do not agree, the previous terms continue to apply until the contract of use ends. You can then terminate it at any time by email to [TODO: E-Mail-Adresse], and we can terminate it under § 10 (3).
§ 14 Responsible play
Even games without real money can contribute to problematic behaviour. Advice, warning signs and free counselling services can be found under responsible play. You can have your account deleted at any time under “Delete account” in your profile.
§ 15 Point of contact, reports and moderation
(1) Single point of contact for authorities and users under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act): [TODO: E-Mail-Adresse]. You can write to us in German or English.
(2) You can report illegal content or content that breaches § 4 (5) (e.g. usernames, table or bot names) to us by email. Please state which content it is and why it is not permitted.
(3) We review reports and possible breaches ourselves; a human always decides on measures under § 4 (5) and § 9. Only technical safeguards such as rate limits and input checks work automatically (e.g. the prefix "bot_" is reserved for bot accounts).
(4) If we change a name, significantly correct a balance or suspend an account, we will tell you why, as far as we can reach you. You can then object by email; we will review the decision.
§ 16 Final provisions
(1) German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of that country's law.
(2) If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is our place of residence.
(3) We send notices to you, for example about corrections, suspensions or a termination, to the email address of your account. If you have not provided one, we inform you on Play Money Party where possible. You can reach us at [TODO: E-Mail-Adresse].
(4) We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
(5) If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid. The statutory provisions take the place of the invalid provision.
