No real money

On Play Money Party you never deposit money and never get money paid out. Chips have no monetary value and cannot be bought or sold.

Play money is no training for real casinos

In every casino game the house has an edge in the long run – at Play Money Party it is stated openly in the game rules. A winning streak with play money is chance and says nothing about how things would go with real money. No system beats the house edge in the long run. We do not refer you to real-money casinos and never will.

Warning signs

Take it seriously if several of these apply to you:

• You play longer or more often than you meant to.
• Your thoughts keep circling around playing, even when you are not.
• You get restless or irritable when you cannot play.
• You try to win back losses by playing more.
• You play to forget stress, worries or a bad mood.
• You hide how much you play, or neglect school, work, friends or sleep.
• You gamble for real money and stake more than you can afford – or borrow money for it.

An anonymous self-test (in German) is available at check-dein-spiel.de.

Tips

• Decide beforehand how long you will play, then stop – even in the middle of a winning streak.
• Take regular breaks.
• Don't play when you are stressed or sad or have been drinking.
• Never see playing as a way to earn money.
